“There were calls for revenge and retaliation against my family,” McCarren told “This Morning” anchor Charlie Rose. “I’m now in about my 27th year as a reporter and I have never seen anything like this.”
McCarren, who took a week off from the story in the aftermath of the threats, was back on the air last night and has pledged to continue reporting on the issue.
“What began as a week’s worth of reports quickly extended to a month, and now there’s no end in sight,” she said.
