Alvin Lustig Bookjacket Posters Are Going Fast
You’ll remember we buried the kind people at Kind Company in praise around this time last year for their work on the website for Alvin Lustig. They’ve just told us about a very special offer that you Lustig-ites might want to indulge in.
Four screenprinted posters of Lustig’s most famous bookjacket designs have been printed in a series of 100, individually stamped and numbered. And once these are gone, well, they’re gone forever.
Choose from:
A Season in Hell by Arthur Rimbaud, 1945
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, 1945
Amerika by Franz Kafka, 1946
and our favorite, Three Lives by Gertrude Stein, 1945
Prints are $100 plus shipping and you can check them out here. And here’s more information about Lustig’s work for New Directions.
