Banksy Taking Over at D&AD?!

What should be a universal motto it seems: once you post one Banksy story (like we did yesterday), you’re likely going to have to post some more. Such is the case as we ran across the rumors coming from Design Week that Banksy is in talks to take the head spot over at D&AD, the UK-based educational charity and host of a big-time annual awards show. Though how exactly this would work baffles everyone:

So far, however, the logistics of working with a creative figurehead who requires continuous ‘blacking out’ have caused proceedings to stall severely. It has been 12 months since [former chief executive Michael Hockney]‘s departure from D&AD, the reasons for which have themselves not seen the light of day.

Then again, we must stop and remember that a) Banksy loves a good joke and b) this was leaked on April 1st.
