Ben de Lisi and the Design Council’s ‘Universal Gown’ Unveiled

Early last month, the UK’s Design Council was tearing it up with announcements, first about safer pint glass designs (“safer” as in they won’t kill someone when someone at the pub gets too rambunctious and decides to start throwing things or hitting heads) and then, along with plans for other newly designed hospital gear, the news that they had brought on fashion designer Ben de Lisi to develop a better hospital gown. At the time, de Lisi wasn’t finished with creating the new design, but now the Universal Gown has just been unveiled (along with those aforementioned other medical redesigns). Here it is:
