Brian Collins, Gary Hustwit Headline D-Crit’s Spring Lecture Line-up

Design-minded New Yorkers, or those planning to visit Gotham this spring, are in for a treat. The students and staff of D-Crit, the Design Criticism MFA program at the School of Visual Arts, have assembled an outstanding line-up of speakers for the latest installment of their scintillating Tuesday night lecture series. This spring at D-Crit HQ, students will host and introduce speakers including branding champ Brian Collins (whose tête-à-tête with Debbie Millman is one of our all-time favorite episodes of Design Matters), filmmaker Gary Hustwit, and Art Institute of Chicago design curator Zoë Ryan. We suggest RSVPing to dcrit@sva.edu as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out on the lectures and lively discussion (followed by drinks and snacks). Here’s a quick look at what’s in store for spring:
Lectures are held at the SVA Design Criticism MFA Department, located on the second floor of 136 West 21st Street in New York City. Admission is free but space is limited, so reserve a spot at the lecture(s) of your choice by e-mailing dcrit@sva.edu as soon as possible. Detailed lecture descriptions and speaker bios are available here.
