Checking Out Jeff Koons at Versailles
A well-produced bit of video about Jeff Koons‘ exhibit at Versailles, which includes lots of shots of his work strewn about the scenic locale, as well as Koons himself talking, at length, about why he’s happy to have his art in place there and that he thinks Louis XIV would have really dug his work (among other things):
As a quick aside, we really enjoyed this story over at Art Info about the protesters who showed up when the Koons exhibit first launched. In particular, we couldn’t think of anything more French than this bit about one protester: “He then pulled out balloons with names that rhyme with Koons written on them and popped them one by one.”
