We were way impressed with the lineup for the upcoming Sarasota International Design Summit, and even more excited when they brought in the young and beautiful Ambra Medda, director and co-founder of Design Miami/Basel.

But imagine our disbelief when they added Medda to their list of speakers, and paired her with--of all people--John Maeda! The Medda/Maeda presentation will be the closing session of the Summit, leaving attendees to find their way back home with their brains permanently imploded.

However, if you're going to have the whole Uma, Oprah...Oprah, Uma kind of thing, why not go all the way? Come on, conference organizers: invite SF shop MetaDesign to the table.
