The curiously capitalized and pointlessly punctuated anOTHER T.SHIRT COMPETITION caught our eye (via core77) with the words t-shirt and competition (sophomore year, no need to dwell) but on second reading we're kinda feeling their invitation to explore the simple t-shirt as "artifact/fetish/object/medium/art." This isn't just any old spray-paint-and-duct-tape middle-school we're-so-creative-and-stifled-in-our-sameness fashion statement, but, rather, a "reinterpretation of the traditional t-shirt competition." We shudder to think.

Using a t-shirt as medium/raw-material or a jumping off point, we are looking for submissions which extend the boundaries of what a t-shirt is and what graphic design is. We are seeking entries that bring us into the world of inventive, playful, unconventional design.

Last time we got inventive, playful, and unconventional at a t-shirt contest... but this is a family blog.
