Dudes-Only Creativity Conference Has Girls Gone Wild

creativitytok.jpg

This ain’t nothing new, you know. The male-to-female ratios at design conferences are always a bit off. But, as Jen Bekman noted last week, the upcoming Tokion conference is way off. We were content just to sit here and whine, per usual.

But then Bekman wrote us. And because she is smart, and a woman, and a gallery owner, and the reason we are who we are today, we are going to enlist your help. Add to her list of potential women for Tokion to include in their lineup. Because, you see, they contacted 20 women, who all said no, and they just couldn’t, like, think of any more. But then they added five more guys.

You know, we’re willing to bet a smart woman gallery owner named Jen Bekman is probably available.

Update: Ken from Tokion says that “a couple of female speakers” confirmed over the weekend. We think we see one.
