Fast Company, Slow Concepting

Paging through the current issue of our new favorite magazine, Fast Company (better than BW, maybe better than Wired), we were psyched to see huge, meaty chunks of design coverage–mostly Basel and Miami and some great innovation stories–but we also got a good giggle.

On page 48 is the story of our friends over at It will take more than a pair of creatives to get into this annual, who, as we reported, trying to get Merriam-Webster to add “concept” as a verb for all us creative types. FC, however, quotes the proposed definition as “from a (possibly serious) online petition.”

How could we get more serious? Say it loud, we’re concepting, and we’re proud.
