Financial Times Does Book Cover Design

We were browsing around the Financial Times‘ site today for a bit (because that’s how cool we are around here) when we ran across a review, from this week, of David Sedaris‘ book Naked. Understandably, we were a little confused, given that the book came out ten years ago. But no, wait, it’s a story about Chip Kidd‘s cover for the book. And what’s more, it’s the fourth in apparently an ongoing series of reviews/stories about cover design, with a new one every couple of weeks or so. Huh. Who knew? Or maybe we’re the last to know? Anyway, maybe it’ll go away, but we’re hoping not. Thus far, it’s been a fun little feature. We vote “Yes, please continue!” …What are we talking about? Too much spiked egg nog.
