This edition of "Always Make Sure You Double Check the File So That You Don't Send the Comp" comes by way of bblinks, who pointed us to this story about a full-page ad that ran in the Economist magazine, encouraging businesses to move some of their operations to Gwangyang, South Korea. The ad listed all the features and benefits of heading abroad, as well as a spectacular shot of the city skyline. Only problem was that they'd accidentally somehow slipped in Calgary's skyline and it went to print. Here's some:

Bruce Graham, president and CEO of Calgary Economic Development, called having the city's skyline borrowed "a first."

"I had no idea that we would have our skyline lifted and dropped into Korea," he told CBC News. "It's a first for me, in 20 years in this business, that I've seen somebody's skyline appear in another city's ad."

Graham said initially he thought, "Hey, this isn't right," but now considers it a compliment.

The firm designing the ad could have picked any of hundreds of city skylines, Graham said, but picked Calgary.

"This is a testament to our city and what we're doing here."
