From Things Magazine, the purveyor of some of the finest links around, comes this story that’s sure to start making the rounds beyond just we design and architecture enthusiasts and out into the real world, with their “Us” magazines and their television programs. It’s Dezeen’s hot scoop direct from the offices of Kayne West about his nearly finished apartment in New York by designer Claudio Silvestrin. And while it certainly is a breathtaking place, we still can’t help but feel a little burnt that this same place isn’t being built in say, Chicago, Illinois. What? Silvestrin doesn’t make appointments out here, Kayne?
