Kit Hinrichs’ Star-Spangled Pad
Pentagram SF partner Kit Hinrichs is currently touring the country in support of his book The Pentagram Papers. If you look on page 132 of that book, you’ll see a section about Pentagram Paper 14: Stars & Stripes, which is a survey of Hinrichs’ own American flag memorabilia. According to this article in the SF Chronicle, Hinrichs’ flags are the stars of the SF home he shares with his wife Linda, also a designer.
It’s a total oh-those-crazy-designers interview–he even reveals the color of his “school bus yellow” front door as PMS 123–but we’re especially taken with Hinrichs’ version of the old celebrity flag-wrapping shot. Looking pretty sexy there, Kit!
