Some very sad news for auto design fans and anyone, like this writer, who had car posters lining their walls as children. It’s being reported that Andrea Pininfarina, the legendary car designer who worked on creating some of the world’s most famous sports cars for companies like Ferrari and Maserati (and was in the process of a redesign of the Ford Focus), was killed yesterday in a traffic accident.
