Condé Nast to Fold Domino: March Issue Will Be Shelter Mag's Last
"This decision to cease publication of the magazine and its website is driven entirely by the economy," said Conde Nast president and CEO Charles Townsend in a statement issued today. "Although readership and advertising response was encouraging in the early years, we have concluded that this economic market will not support our business expectations." As we told you last Friday, while circulation has been up at Domino, advertising pages have fallen and the magazine has lost nearly $40 million over the past three-and-a-half years.
