Finally, for a little pick-you-up before this writer calls it a day and hands you off to Stephanie's very capable afternoon news and wordsmithery, ArtInfo led us back into the interesting world of art with their reporting on The Rebel magazine's "The Art World's 50 Least Important People" list. A tongue in cheek look at who hasn't been doing so hot or who was potentially deserving of bones to pick, the UK magazine seems to have been fairly well received around the industry, even among those who were being picked on:

Who occupies the Rebel's top -- or is it bottom -- spot? The answer is J. J. Charlesworth, an editor at Art Review. The bemused critic responded to the news with undiminished wit: "I'm very happy to share the list with such complete unknowns as Liam Gillick and Darren Almond. I'm glad that I'm apparently more less important than they are. And what is this Rebel magazine anyway? I've never heard of it."
