We knew Apartment Therapy‘s Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan knew a few things about small spaces but we didn’t know exactly how small: Gillingham-Ryan and his wife (four-named Sara Kate Gillingham-Ryan) live in a 265-square-foot apartment in the West Village. And they just added a baby! That’s less than 89 square feet per person.
In true AT-style, Maxwell covered the entire pre-baby renovation, which you can read on the site’s 9 Month Cure feature. And the NY Times covers the Gillingham-Ryan household (which looks remarkably spacious in the photos) in yesterday’s H&H. We’re so proud when design bloggers make good.
You’ll remember Gillingham-Ryan also parlayed his blogging wisdom into a best-selling book, Apartment Therapy: The Eight-Step Home Cure. If you’re similarly inspired, hear him along with other blog-to-book experts on this mediabistro panel December 11.
