Are you a designer, marketer, copywriter or otherwise creative person who enjoys listening to and talking about all things design? If you’re in the New York metropolitan area on Thursday, March 26th, then we have an event for you. Our leaders, Graphics.com and mediabistro, are helping throw a party and a panel called “New Frontiers of Graphic Design” which will feature Heidi Dangelmaier of 3iying, President of The Art Director’s Club and CEO of The Happy Corp, Doug Jaeger, Chris Rubino of Studio 18 Hundred, designer Felix Sockwell (who designed our beautiful UnBeige logo, by the way) and UnBeige’s own Stephanie Murg (who we have heard, through undisclosed reports, absolutely rocks). The whole gang will talk about surviving in this gloomy economy, what’s working and what isn’t in the business, and methods of landing new work and what to look forward to in the future. We hope you’ll be there with extra socks, because your first pair is certainly going to get knocked clean off. Here are the details:
