Our tendency for checking email every thirty seconds, rain or shine, legit DSL or stolen wireless, drunk or sober, paid off last night with a late tip from a pal at Pentagram.

This evening’s Daily Show debuts a new look designed by Pentagram:
on-air graphics by Paula Scher (designer of “America: The Book”) and sets
by Jim Biber.

We wouldn’t have missed it for the world (or a post), but we recently lost our television in a freak reality accident and have to rely on our addled (and un-visual) imaginations. Although, on second reading, maybe we should consider ourselves lucky we did:
