As everyone's been pretty giddy about this week's release of the new coins for the UK by The Royal Mint, arguably some of the coolest money ever designed, we ran across this piece by the BBC about the designer behind them all, Matthew Dent, who, at twenty-six, has entered into design legend, with likely millions upon millions of copies of his work staying in circulation for decades. It's a fun story and Dent's happiness just oozes from his quotes. Here's a bit:

"It's an amazing opportunity. As a graphic designer your ambition is to make a mark in your field, you want to produce something that becomes part of people's lives.

"It feels like a wonderful point for me, I think it is going to take a little while to get used to things."
