Watch your backs, Europe and Canada, because there's a new international photography festival on the scene, and it hails from Brooklyn. PowerHouse Books and VII Photo Agency have teamed up to launch the New York Photo Festival, a dynamic celebration of contemporary photography that they expect to draw more than 100,000 visitors to Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood this May 14-18.
