Bible of irreverence Vice has taken over the internet airwaves and in doing so, promises to rescue us from “television’s deathlike grip.” Creative-directed by Spike Jonze, VBS.tv has contributors stationed all over the world–essential for segments like The Vice Guide to Travel and no doubt very helpful for producing something called The Cute Show.

As for the arty offerings, there’s plenty. We like the series Epicly Later’d, the latest of which follows Neckface from his havoc-wreaking graffiti career to his subdued new life as an introspective watercolor artist. Elsewhere, you can follow David Choe as he hitchhikes his way across America in Thumbs Up, and you can see photographer Richard Kern…well, we’re not really at liberty to say what he’s doing but let’s just say that Vice is right. You can’t see this stuff on TV.
