Another design magazine?! Really? “Don’t worry,” says the first issue of Task Newsletter, “It’s going to be great.”
A look at the contributors is convincing. The designers-slash-editors: Emmet Byrne from Minneapolis (and of the Walker Art Center), Alex DeArmond from Arnhem (Where? That’s what we said, too.), and Jon Sueda, who was in LA and now is in Oakland. Additional contributors are Kristina Bell, Geoff Halber, Kate McKinney and Project Projects. And then there are the interviews: Mevis and van Deursen, Eric Olson, Zak Kyes, Michael Worthington, and the all-important coverage of the 2008 Cat Lovers Against the Bomb calendar.
Yes, yes. We think there’s some room in designer hearts this holiday for Task.
