The LA Modernism Show Is So Hot Right Now

You’re sure to see midcentury aficionado Courteney Cox Arquette shopping at this year’s LA Modernism show, where 90 dealers will be showcasing their art and furniture finds from 1900-1980. The two-day event is being produced by David Boses, who is pretty much The Man of modernism. We’re most interested in seeing show’s centerpiece, a kiosk designed for the 1964 World’s Fair by Charles and Ray Eames. The 10-foot kiosk was created for the legendary IBM Pavillion, and was previously considered lost.

But we’re way excited because our favorite faux-fashionista, Will Ferrell, has been tapped to host the opening gala:

“I’m very excited to be a part of the LA Modernism Show. I’ve always loved modern and contemporary furniture and art because it’s so modern and contemporary. I promise not to break anything.”

Gala is May 5, tickets are $75
Show is May 6-7, tickets are $15
