Yosemite Studios Party Was Pure Creative Dynamite
It was kind of a religious experience we had Saturday, stepping into the shared studio space of so many artists we admire from afar. We were at Yosemite Studios, a former liquor store now inhabited by Mark Todd, Esther Pearl Watson, Saelee Oh, Seonna Hong, Carlos Ramos and Martha Rich. Right there in the thick of their work, it was kind of like we were poking into their brains or something. And what brains they were!
Our lovely hostess Martha Rich, who has been doing a painting a day over at Freedom Wig, and studio mate Carlos Ramos.
Tim Biskup and Madeline Yang, Joe Rocco.
Kim O’Grady of MOCA, Rob Clayton and Richard McNeace.
Justin Kreitmeyer of National Forest, Saelee Oh and Tom Moore.
Annie Adjchavanich of Billy Shire Fine Arts, Mark Todd, photographer Pryor Praczukowski, Saelee Oh and others gathering in Mark Todd and Esther Pearl Watson’s space
(We know, we’re a few days late with these, but the photos were, um, getting developed.)
