Honestly, when it’s revealed that Zaha Hadid is actually a robot alien who never sleeps and has eight brains, we’re going to be the first to say, “See what did we tell you?” How else would you explain a new handful of stories coming out each week about something new she’s doing? Case in point: this story in yesterday’s NY Times about the re-staging of the collaborative dance piece she put together with Fredric Flamand. She designed the sets, the costumes and probably was just about to go on stage to do every single dance step herself, had prior obligations not kept her busy. Anyway, if you’re keen to see what the most prolific human being in history has had a hand in, the North American premiere of this piece is on Wednesday during the Lincoln Center Festival.
Also, if you’re keen to see more of Hadid and her doppelganger army, her blog at the Design Museum has up her speech at the private party held during the opening night of the exhibit there.
