MTV Networks Latin America and Samsung launched MTVMusica.com, which offers access to the programmer's live performances, exclusive news, interview clips, artist profiles and local and international music videos.

The site launched Tuesday in beta form in Latin America, and it will roll out in local formats in other regions.

MTVMusica.com's search function allows users to search by genre, type or range, and users can rate videos, add them to their profile or play list, post comments, read comments by others and view more videos from the same artist or related artists.

On the social-networking front, users can post videos and clips to profiles on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and via e-mail. MTVMusica.com uses MTV Networks' Flux social-media platform, which allows users to join communities and interact with content across more than 5,000 entertainment, pop-culture and music Websites worldwide.

MTVN Latin America vice president of digital media Luis Goicouria said:
