NBC's Al Roker was in Atlanta this morning for the Today show where he announced the launch date of his even-earlier morning show (6amET) "Wake Up With Al" on The Weather Channel. Al sent this Twitpic alongside his Weather Channel co-anchor Stephanie Abrams.

The show launches July 20 with Roker in New York, and Abrams in Atlanta, or wherever the weather takes them.

NBCU, with private equity firms Blackstone Group and Bain Capital, acquired The Weather Channel last July.
