In a third-party Twitter-application plagiarism row, Nick Halstead of TweetMeme pointed out in a blog post that ReTweet, which hasn't even launched yet, contained "retweet button Javascript and the Wordpress plugin code [that] seemed to have been directly copied from ours," CNET reported.

Halstead added that TweetMeme is "seeking further legal advice," saying his post was prompted by a commenter on an article on TechCrunch, who claims to have discovered the matching code.
