Kutcher May Take a Break From Twitter if TV Show Goes ForwardThe AP reports Reveille productions and Brillstein Entertainment are developing an unscripted series based on Twitter. The reality show will invite 140-character postings from members around the world.
"Twitter is transforming the way people communicate, especially celebrities and their fans," said Reveille managing director Howard T. Owens. As for Twitter's participation, co-founder Biz Stone writes that the site has a "lightweight, non-exclusive, agreement with the producers which helps them move forward more freely." B&C's Alex Weprin reports Twitter has other television projects in the works too. "Next month MTV will launch The Alexa Chung Show, which will prominently feature the service." Weprin reports Twitter is also working with other networks, including ABC and G4. Email This Post |
