One of the new products to be unveiled at next week's NAB/RTNDA conference is a customizable news Webcast called NewscastMix. The add-on allows users to create their own newscast with stories they choose.

The add-on connects to an existing Website allowing viewers to create customized newscasts - based on geographic, subject and time of day preferences. The service can also be used by non-news content providers, including documentary, sports, educational or corporate content, as well as newspapers, radio stations and other media.

"More viewers are going online and stations need to find a way to keep that audience. NewscastMix puts a new spin on online news video that delivers finely targeted content to each viewer," said Michael P. Hill, whose company HD Media Ventures, created NewscastMix.
