-Well, it looks Slate was already on to this on Super Bowl Sunday, but as many of you have mentioned to us since yesterday, it appears that Richards Group’s well-received “God Made a Farmer” Ram spot was actually, er, inspired by one (also featuring Paul Harvey) made by Farms.com back in 2011. To perhaps quell the cries of ripoff, though, Slate has updated its post, noting that Farms.com is working with the Chrysler Group to raise money for the Future Farmers of America. We suppose Richards Group just, um, fine-tuned the original idea then.
