Twitter launched its Certified Products program last August with the goal of bringing “some of the most innovative products and services from Twitter developers to businesses and organizations that need them most.”
The certified badge is basically a stamp of approval from Twitter for an app or platform that symbolizes compliance with Twitter guidelines.
With a recent approval of 11 additional products, the total of Twitter Certified Products now comes to 33. Read on for the full list.
In addition to expanding the roster of approved products to countries outside the U.S., the new batch brings with it a refresh of the Certified Products badge.
Whereas previously, Twitter differentiated between Engagement Products, Analytics Products, and Data Reseller Products (see the old badges in our previous post), now all Certified Products across the first two verticals will get the same badge. Data Reseller Products will still be differentiated.
As Zach Hofer-Shall, Manager of the Twitter Certified Program, wrote in a blog post announcing the news,
“Our certification program remains 100% focused on products that extend Twitter’s value for businesses, and we see the scope of these reaching beyond traditional definitions of engagement and analytics. As business needs for Twitter functionality evolve, we’re expanding the program to meet these needs.”
