Heineken International’s Amstel brand has created an augmented reality campaign that makes use of the Aurasma app to help market its beer.
Users must download the Aurasma app and then search for Amstel within the app to participate. Once they have added the Amstel icon to their list, they can explore the augmented reality features. Triggered by snapping a photo of an Amstel logo, be it on the bottle, the cap or even on an outdoor advertisement, the app will play a video ad for the beer.
