Elle’s New Lit Blog Combines Fiction and Fashion

lit_life.png

Have you ever wondered how many pairs of $400 shoes your favorite author owns? Neither have we–this is an eBook blog, after all; we’re probably more interested in the online RPGs folks at Google are playing on company time, right?–but there are people who do wonder about the intersection of fiction and fashion, or at least that’s what Elle magazine hopes.

On February 1, Elle launched its newest blog, Lit Life, which, according to Candice Rainey, Elle‘s deputy editor, who started the blog, is a place where “ELLE.com readers can geek out over blindlingy brilliant fiction but might also salivate over a beautifully designed book jacket or want to know what that cool girl in the picture is not only reading, but where she got her bag.”

So are models reading eBooks? Well, Dree Hemingway, great-granddaughter of the Nobel winner and ravishing model doesn’t say anything about them in today’s top post, but who knows what’s to come.
