Macgasm is reporting that the latest version of the Firefox web browser is now available from Mozilla. They’re not too happy with the OSX version, but but the Windows version certainly seems to be worth the download.
The app adds a number of bug fixes as well as smoother scrolling and a Chrome style new tab page and a new default home page. The update also improves Firefox’s support for HTML5. FF12, which I’m still running as I wait for the download, only scored 330 points on the HTML5 test mentioned above. Fifteen points might not seem like much but it is actually a couple new features that now work right.
You can get the new browser now or wait for it to be pushed out to you with the regular updates.
