Social management dashboard tools HootSuite reported today that its revenues increased by 150 percent in Q3, as compared to the same quarter last year.
The revenues are probably in light of a number of new customers. HootSuite also revealed a number of new business customers that signed up during the quarter including: Fujifilm Holdings Corporation, Siemens PLC, and Australian Red Cross, as well as 133 other brands. In total, the platform has more than 1,000 enterprise customers.
During the quarter, HootSuite also secured $165 million in Series B financing, one of the largest global venture capital funding rounds of the year. In addition, HootSuite hired Cisco Systems veteran Jeanette Gibson to head up Vice President of Community during the quarter.
