LinkedIn’s New Mobile App Targets Recruiters

linkedinLinkedIn has released a new mobile app that targets recruiters called LinkedIn Recruiter. The app is designed to help recruiters connect with potential candidates and is based on an existing LinkedIn website called Recruiter Mobile.

Check it out: “This new app puts the LinkedIn Recruiter features you love most in the palm of your hand. The end result: a more productive you and better interactions with both candidates and hiring managers. That’s because you can do everything from responding immediately to candidate InMails, to viewing all of our more than 238 million members’ full profiles, to getting hiring manager feedback on candidates – all while out and about.”

According to LinkedIn mobile is a popular way to connect with the site. In fact, 33 percent of LinkedIn visit the mobile site and more than 30 percent of LinkedIn job views are coming from mobile devices. In addition, among LinkedIn users that have used the site to apply for jobs, half have done so from mobile devices.
