Australian developer has introduced a new tool called Tablo that helps authors self-publish their books from start to finish using the cloud.
The platform helps you design and format your eBooks and then will even guide you through the publishing process, so that you can sell directly to Amazon’s Kindle Store and Apple’s iBookstore. Tablo will take a cut of your revenues depending on the pricing structure that you sign up for.
The basic package costs $99 and lets you publish one title, obtain 1ISBN and includes daily sales reporting (all levels include this kind of sales tracking). Tablo will take a 20 percent of royalty from the income that is generated from Amazon & the iBookstore, which is usually 70 percent of the retail price after the retailers take their cut. The $299 plan lets you publish 5 titles, gives you 5 ISBN numbers and they will take 10 percent of the income (after Amazon & Apple take their share). For $599 , Tablo will let give you 10 ISBN numbers, help you publish 10 books and won’t take a cut. (Via TechCrunch)
