New Al Jazeera iPad App Lets You Stream Documentaries

Al Jazeera has relaunched it’s iPad app and the latest edition lets users live stream the news network in real time, as well as watch documentary films.

The free app includes original reporting with in-depth feature articles, analysis and opinion, as well as photo essays, graphics and reporting. The app’s “Live Dashboard” lets users watch live TV. The app also lets users follow tweets from the network in real time and share content with their friends across their own social networks.

Here is more from Al Jazeera’s website: “The app’s integration with Al Jazeera’s news systems is such that occasionally, stories will appear there before they do on air. Video on the app will be positioned in a ‘fluid grid’ – meaning that video will be in different sizes and shift in position throughout the day according to their prominence in the news agenda.”
