Use VineGifR to Turn Your Vines Into Animated GIFs

Twitter’s controversial video looper, Vine, has a new friend, VineGifR. The simple mac app turns Vine’s mp4 files into silent animated Gifs.

The app is still being developed and refined, but it is extremely simple to use – just open the VineGifR window, paste in your URL, and select a location for your Gif output file.

Tech-savy user, truemarmalade pointed out that can also make instant gif links to any Vine by appending ‘gif’ in front of the Vine’s mp4 URL. For example: vine.co/v/b5Hwam9nPEQ turns into gifvine.co/v/b5Hwam9nPEQ.
