Yahoo Screen App Lets You Stream Your Favorite Shows

Yahoo has created a new video streaming iOS app that lets user watch their favorite shows. It’s called the Yahoo Screen app.

Yahoo has forged partnerships with media companies including Viacom and NBC to help build its video library. Users can browse the app for video content that ranges from archival clips of old Saturday Night Live episodes to episodes of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report. The collection includes more than 1,000 hours of channel-based video content including the shows Ghost GhirlsLosing It With John Stamos, and Tiny Commando.

Users can search for content that they want to see or browse through trending clips, and swiping left to right to advance between episodes.

Robby Stein, Director of Product Management at Yahoo, described it in a Tumblr blog post:

We want Yahoo Screen to be a place where you can customize your experience to your liking while continually discovering new things to watch and share. We hope to make YahooScreen the destination for the world’s best video creators and their awesome content.
