Background: WeightWatchers magazine launched back in 1967, but since the 1990s, it has transformed from a publication promoting the Weight Watchers way of life to "a broad view and contemporary approach to wellness and lifestyle as it relates to your weight," said Nancy Gagliardi, VP and editorial director of Weight Watchers Publishing Group. "You don't have to be a Weight Watchers member to pick up the magazine at the newsstand or subscribe to it," though about 50 percent of readers are. "Our audience is any woman (or increasingly men) interested in losing weight or leading a healthy lifestyle."...
