Sometimes we don't give enough love to television here in Revolving Door (yes, that's a bad Valentine's Day joke), so we're trying to fix that today. Fox News hires former Massachusetts senator Scott Brown as a contributor. "Senator Brown's dedication to out-of-the box thinking on key issues makes him an important voice in the country and we are looking forward to his contributions across all FOX News platforms," executive vice president of programming Bill Shine said in a statement. His first appearance came on Hannity. Herman Cain will join him on the network as well. You'll be able to see the former Republican presidential candidate and Godfather's Pizza CEO on Fox News and Fox Business Network... Elsewhere, Survivor host Jeff Probst loses his eponymous show after a year. He is "super bummed but extremely proud..." Naomi Wolf might soon start showing up on Al Jazeera. The Guardian columnist has written columns for the Qatari-owned network before... Finally, Whitney Cummings loses her E! Talk show...

Thomson Reuters will cut roughly four percent of the workforce, or about 2,500 jobs, in 2013. It will cost the company $100 million in severance but will hopefully position it for "profitable growth in 2014." Most of the losses will come from the financial and risk division, which oversees terminal rentals. Meanwhile, Reuters recruits former New York Times assistant managing editor Jim Roberts as executive editor of the digital side... The New York Times' executive editor moves Rick Berke from assistant managing editor to senior editor and head of the video content division... "Sneaky" layoffs at The Washington Post? That's devious and sad...

Samantha Yanks is the new executive fashion editor at Niche Media, jumping up from editor-in-chief of Gotham. Catherine Sabino fills her spot, while fashion editor-at-large Laurie Brookins moves into an editing role in the custom publishing business... AdWeek promotes James Cooper to editorial director. He's been in charge of the publication since Michael Wolff's departure in October 2011... Anna Wintour loses managing editor Laurie Jones, the woman who hired the current Vogue editrix at New York way back when... Variety loses Stuart Levine to the corporate communications world where he will be vice president of editorial and media relations for NBC Entertainment... Longtime Entertainment Weekly television critic Ken Tucker takes a buyout. He's one of the magazine's original staffers...

WOR loses chief engineer Tom Ray, who has overseen the tech side of the station for more than 15 years... The Martin Agency hires Jordi Martinez as creative director. He had been with Wieden+Kennedy for the past five years... John Staffen gets promoted to global creative director at ArnoldNYC. He had been co-chief creative officer... And there are changes at CNN Worldwide, Twitter and more...
