In an exclusive that will no doubt ruin the 4th of July weekend for media reporters (and the lawyers performing due diligence if this is true), the London-based business magazine, The Business is reporting that the News Corp. purchase of Dow Jones is a done deal, with the official announcement coming next week. No other outlets had run with this exclusive by noon on Friday (although Dow Jones issued a statement denying the report), but if true, then the end of the Wall Street Journal as we know it (at least when it comes to the staff), may well ...
