Let Eric Nicholson be an example to us all. The Marie Claire senior fashion editor and former Jane editor made the titanic faux pas of appearing on Jane Pratt's Sirius Radio Show shortly after Jane closed, where he professed that working while Marie Claire was "definitely bigger and different. I wouldn't say better." And it didn't improve after that -- he left the magazine this week, reportedly after Marie Claire editor Joanna Coles read that comment in Women's Wear Daily and then threw him out.
