Mike DeLuca has been named senior vice president, digital, for Hearst Newspapers. DeLuca most recently served as chief revenue officer of Savored, a company purchased by Groupon last year. Under Groupon’s umbrella, he served as VP of sales.
“Mike DeLuca’s hiring reflects Hearst’s continued commitment to providing the highest quality digital marketing solutions,” Mike Aldam, president of Hearst Newspapers, said in a statement. “Mike’s a proven digital sales leader with deep local media experience and he will be of great benefit to all of our brands as we continue to scale our services across our local media businesses.”
DeLuca will join Hearst June 10.
