Cosmo Adds Two

Cosmopolitan has added two editors. See below for the highlights.

    • Sarah Conly has been named senior market editor. Conly comes to the magazine from InStyle, where she most recently served as market editor. Prior to that she was associate market editor at Harper’s Bazaar. Conly starts September 5 and will report to fashion director Aya Kanai and fashion market director, Shiona Turini.
    • Kathy Lee joins Cosmo as a senior accessories editor. Lee most recently served as associate accessories editor for Town & Country. She previously held the same role at W. Lee’s appointment is effective immediately. She also reports to Kanai and Turini.

Cosmopolitan and Essence have both added to their fashion teams. Here are the details:

    • Shiona Turini has been named fashion market director for Cosmo. Turini comes to the magazine from CR Fashion Book, where she most recently served as fashion market and beauty director. Prior to her time there, Turini was the accessories director at Teen Vogue and the accessories market editor at W.
    • Melissa Kramer is joining Essence as its fashion director. Kramer most recently served as creative director for Uptown, where she worked on fashion spreads for celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Iman and Lenny Kravitz.
