As regional editor at CommHealth, I wrote 2 main stories, a side bar, a pictorial feature, a compilation of press releases and Q&A with an expert each month for Southern IL and SE MO monthly for 18 months. General reporter at one local paper for about 15 years and currently with second paper. I've written a monthly newsletter since July 2011 for a yoga studio/massage therapy center and have been managing their FB page the past year or so. Worked several years in the marketing dept. of a leading provider of e-learning solutions for healthcare organizations and a longtime leader in print and digital publishing of medical ed. materials. Worked with business segment VPs on media plans and budgets and implementing plan with marketing collateral, sales sheets, ads etc. Taught Basic Newswriting class at local community college 4 years. Also experienced in proofreading and copyediting and have basic photography skills.
